- It is known to be very hard to compute the joint spectral radius (JSR) of a set of matrices. Many different approximation methods have been proposed. Some MATLAB implementations are contained in the JSR_louvain toolbox and the JSR_pack algorithm; see MATLAB Central File Exchange.
