  • It is known to be very hard to compute the joint spectral radius (JSR) of a set of matrices. Many different approximation methods have been proposed. Some MATLAB implementations are contained in  the JSR_louvain  toolbox and the JSR_pack algorithm; see MATLAB Central File Exchange.
